For the second consecutive year, the recipient of The Nafiseh Khaleeli Rolling Trophy - Most Impactful Teacher was declared at an honorary program held in honour of World Disability Day, at the Sophia Opportunity School. This award, instituted by ZUN Foundation in Sophia Opportunity School, in memory of a remarkable special educator and our beloved founder-trustee Nafiseh Khaleeli, recognizes and celebrates outstanding contributions to special education.
The winner for the year 2023-2024, was presented to Mrs. Salome Mathew for her exceptional dedication and commitment to serving the special children at Sophia Opportunity School. Sr. Madhuja, Principal of Sophia Opportunity School, aptly describes Mrs. Salome Mathew as someone who, "exemplifies the spirit of World Disability Day and embodies the principles of advocacy, empathy, and excellence in education."
